Free play and local saves
The basic life simulator is free and requires no account. Names, seeds, choices, attributes, and life records are stored in your browser using IndexedDB. We do not upload those life records. Export a backup before clearing browser data.
Traffic and gameplay statistics
We collect page views, referring domains or campaign sources, interface language, and counts of lives started, completed, decisions and sharing events. A random tab-session identifier helps count visits. These first-party statistics are stored in Cloudflare D1. Game events may include a random local run reference and manual/auto/timeout mode to measure first choices, completion and sharing. They do not contain resident names, seeds, story text, specific choices, attributes or life records. Cloudflare may process network information in operational logs.
Future accounts and AI features
Optional AI play uses an account and cloud saves in Cloudflare D1. Necessary fictional state and recent scenes are sent to DeepSeek, excluding your email and resident name. Email codes use Cloudflare Email Service; Google sign-in is optional. Stripe processes one-time payments; we store payment references and access status, not card details. Free local lives are not uploaded. We do not sell personal information.
Storage and your controls
Speed and auto-choice preferences are stored locally. You can export life records, import a backup in another browser, or clear this site’s browser storage to remove local data. Closing a life keeps its record in the archive. Clearing storage cannot be undone without a backup. Google Analytics, Plausible and Microsoft Clarity controls are available below; turning them off does not turn off the first-party statistics described above.
Deleting your account removes its cloud lives and login data. Free local lives remain in your browser until you delete them. AI records download as an archive; the free simulator does not import AI archives.
Google Analytics, Plausible, Microsoft Clarity and cookies
Google Analytics 4, Plausible Analytics and Microsoft Clarity are enabled by default when pages load, without a consent popup, to understand visits, navigation and general gameplay engagement. The Plausible script is served from api.seedance21.xyz. Google Analytics and Plausible receive event type, interface language and a sanitized page URL; only allowlisted campaign parameters are retained. Local life IDs in free-play and AI-life routes are replaced with generic paths. We do not send these providers resident names, seeds, story text, specific choices, attributes or life records. Microsoft Clarity records interaction patterns and page structure for session analysis. Life, AI story, archive, account and admin content areas are masked in Clarity recordings; page URLs may still include route IDs or query parameters. Google Analytics and Microsoft process data under their own privacy policies. Our Google integration disables Google signals, advertising storage and ad personalization.
Google Analytics uses first-party cookies such as _ga and _ga_* to distinguish browsers and maintain sessions. Their default lifetime is two years, subject to browser limits and Analytics settings. Plausible is a separate analytics service. Microsoft Clarity may use analytics cookies to connect page views into sessions. Turning off analytics stops future collection through these integrations; it does not delete data already received by the providers.
Use the button below to turn Google Analytics, Plausible and Microsoft Clarity off or on for this browser. An earlier decline is still respected. This preference is saved locally and synchronizes between tabs; set it separately on other browsers or devices. Turning analytics off reloads the current page to stop loaded tracker scripts. If browser storage is unavailable, the choice applies only to the current visit. Clearing site storage resets it to the enabled default. You can also manage cookies in your browser or use Google’s opt-out browser add-on on supported desktop browsers.
